When I tell my printer to scan an image directly from the printer, why does it only scan a small amount?
-
I have a HP Deskjet 3050A Printer/Scanner and have it set up to work through wifi. When I open the HP Scan utility on my computer anything I scan comes out perfectly fine, but if I try to scan by pressing the Scan button on the actual machine it only scans a very small amount, a little smaller than A5. I'm assuming that it has just been set to a small scan area, but can't find any way to change the settings for it.

Answer:
Maybe the settings are different. try checking your settings. or check your printer cartridge bec. it might be faulty now and better replace it instead.
