How can we fill to the ink in the HP Cartridge?

  WARNING!!! A refill kit may or may not work on the cartridge you are trying to fill. You will need to carefully read the directions that came with the refill kit as each have different instructions. Now to the sad news. Refill kits can be a rip-off. Many companies (especially Lexmark) have installed in the printer a method to cause the cartridge to be disfunctional after so much of the ink is used. Meaning, even if you fill the cartridge up correctly, the circuitry built into the cartridge may have been purposely damaged by the Printer to discourage reuse of the expended cartridge. If you look at the cartridge, you will see find gold lines. The printer is designed to cause a microscopic portion of this wiring to be burned away after the ink level has reached a certain point. HP and Lexmark does this purposely. They don't make money on the Printers, they make money on the cartridges of ink you buy. That is why there are two versions of ink cartridges you can buy: Moderate yield or High yield. Of course the High yield cost more.
