The files written by a digital camera are written to flash memory. When you tell the camera to delete a file, it is gone for good. Good Luck

First off, please tell me you haven't added anything to the camera since deletion. If so, your pics are probably gone. If you haven't then great! Don't touch that camera. I'm going to treat the camera like a hard drive, so if it doesn't work, then I'm sorry. Get restoration software (I use Restoration - can be ran off a floppy disk!) Download this on your computer, and then run it. Hopefully, It recognizes your camera, but you'll need to know the camera pic names. Thankfully, if you look at the existing ones, you'll probably be able to recognize a pattern, and then be able to find the pics. Restore the pics, and get on with your lives!

recovery software does work as long as you haven't taken more pictures as it will write over the area on the memory card that once held the deleted pictures. if the software doesn't work you and then try a professional but it can cost a bit. I've used norton undelete to recover some deleted pictures off a memory card for my camera once.

i dont think you can recover them. with my camera, it will only let me retrieve the last deleted picture, but if i were to clear my entire memory it will warn me that it cannot be undone.

Some memory card manufacturer provide a recovery program that can "Undelete" files and photos. LexarMedia provides "Image Rescue".

You can use "Photorecovery" http://lc-tech.com/Demo/downloads.html They have a limited edition for free hoping that you will upgrade, and I probably will. I just used the program today. As long as you haven't taken any pictures or formatted the card, it will get them back for you. Take care, Keith
