Why will my printer not print?

Why is it so hard to find a printer-scanner-copier-fax type of machine that will also print on discs (with an_

• adapter), or a printer-scanner-copier that will print on discs (with an adapter) that will ALSO fax? In other words, why is it that if these printers I'm looking at will print on paper and discs, they aren't fax machines; or if these printers are fax machines, they can't print on discs? Or in other other words, why is it so hard to find a printer that has faxing and disc printing (and paper) in one machine? Why is it one or the other, but not both? OR... if you can find a machine that does faxing AND discs (and paper, of course, as there are some disc printers that can't also print on paper), WHERE IS IT, and how much is it?
