Do you know how to Convert .tiff or .pdf files (scanned) to .jpg??? or even .bmp?
-
Scanned old family photos, and wish to upload them to sites as pictures. I have the sites but I just need to convert the files, thanks.

Answer:
If you don't have Photoshop...you can open up "Paint". Then open a file you want converted. then Click "Save As" and then using the drop down field, choose the type of file you would like to save it as. I think it will have bmp already pre-chosen, but you can choose jpg or another file type. To open Paint: Click "Start", "All Programs", "Accessories", and then choose "Paint".

The Gimp is a free alternative to photshop/PSP and others. You can download it at www.gimp.org. Just open your file and Save as the format you want it in. The export wizard will guide you through the rest.
