Problem with my hp officejet pro.

I have a HP Officejet Pro L7500 connected to Mac OS 10.5.2. The print out works fine but....?

  • The scan function keeps showing an error "no scan options. Refer to device documentation troubleshoot". Which is not helpful. The Mac is connected via a USB. The all-in-one printer has only just been purchased. The HP installer will not allow me to proceed to install so I have assumed the Mac self installed to allow the print function to work. But I get no scan or fax option. Can someone assist? Has anyone else had the problem with Mac OS and HP Officejet Pro

  • Answer:
