How do I open my HP director with my windows XP?

I have Internet Explorer 7 and am running Windows XP. HP Director wont open after several reinstalls.?

    This was a common problem when I.E.7 was first issued and the only remedy was to revert to I.E.6. HP have since updated their software. Go to their website and download the latest driver. If necessary you can first revert to I.E.6 by going to Control Panel - Add,remove programmes. Find I.E.7 and remove it. I.E.6 will automatically be reinstalled. You can then use HP director to find the new software by going to Help- Troubleshooting and support. Once this is downloaded reinstall I.E.7

Though i have the same system like you and i also have an HP all in one Photosmart printer,I'm not sure how to solve you're problem! Go on there website as you should be able to get some help.You can access it through the HP Solution Centre.

It could be caused by IE7. Problem is removing and going going back to IE6.
