Can I send a fax from same phone line?

Can you send a fax by cell phone or computer with no phone line?

• my computer does not use phone line for internet and I would like to know if I can still send a fax because I want to get rid of my phone line and have only a cell phone

  There are several email-to-fax services out there - basically you pay a fee, email them your document (which includes the phone number to fax to) and their service faxes it automatically. Just a couple examples...
