Can HP All In One Printer J4540 work on Windows Xp?

  • I have windows XP and when i tried to download HP All In One Printer J4540 it says that my current operating system:Windows XP is not supported.And said that the only Systems they support is Windows 7.And i specifically remember on the box of the printer it saying it supports Windows Xp.So whats up.?

usually hp has a really long download for printers and other computer products. usually, when you plug in your printer to the computer, something pops up. i think it says Microsoft download and than follow the instructions that the pop up things says to do. it only take about 5 mins or less instead of 45 - 55 mins. it should be alot faster to download. hoped i helped!!!
