How to set up a Lexmark x2480 Printer?

I have no idea how to set up my lexmark x1270 printer to my acer computer?

    first check that you have properly connected your printer to your computer ( I mean right ports and correct connections) usually the disk with which you are provided comes with necessary software and drivers. and it will autostart as you insert it. If not, check if you could find a file on that disk named 'setup.exe' if you find, try to execute it, and the rest will be carried out by that application and other option is that when you connect your printer to your computer the plug and play feature of windows will detect the new printer and prompts to install drivers then you need to insert the disk provided along with your printer and set the path to that disk when windows asks for drivers hope this helps you out. thank you

According to the manual, just install all the ink cartridges, plug it in the wall, insert some paper, connect the USB to the computer and turn it on. Cancel the Add New Hardware Wizard. Use the CD to install the software and drivers. What is "not" exactly working for you? BTW, you should really think twice before posting your number for millions to see. did you get a USB cable to connect the printer to the computer, most new printers don't come with one.

Connect the printer to the computer with the USB cable, plug in the printer and turn it on. Boot up your computer, insert the printer CD and the set up should start automatically. Never give out your phone number on Yahoo! Answers. There are some weird people on here
