Is a canon multipass F60 printer compatible with Windows Vista??

Canon PIXMA iP1600 printer wont work (Windows Vista)?

• Well yeah i have the PIXMA 1600 on vista and I was working on an essay for school and printed out a few pages 2 weeks ago. I went to visit some relatives last week and came back to find out that apparently my printer isn't compatible to vista. I don't understand since it was working perfectly fine the last time I used it. It hasn't been touched at all and my computer hasn't been upgraded withing the last month. Any explanation? Everytime I try to print something, a thousand messages pop up saying "Error loading C:Windows/system32/spool/DRIVERS/x64/cnb… this is not a valid Win32 application. And they won't stop popping up until I cancel my printing. Can this be fixed or am i done for?

  Go to control panel and uninstall printer software , go to device and printer - right click with your printer (on the list) - click uninstall . Try to install an new driver from official website of Canon - http://www.canon.co.uk/Support/Consumer_Products/products/printers/InkJet/PIXMA_iP_series/iP1600.aspx?DLtcmuri=tcm:14-729895&page=1&type=download , and new software for your printer - http://www.canon.co.uk/Support/Consumer_Products/products/printers/InkJet/PIXMA_iP_series/iP1600.aspx?DLtcmuri=tcm:14-804921&page=1&type=download , ( down of page ,click< I accept > , click <Download> ). Install that driver and software for win vista , restart your pc , connect cable for printer , go to start - device and printer - right click with your printer - set as a default printer . open one doc. and try to print again .
