Why can't I load paper in HP printer?

My HP Printer is having trouble loading paper?

  • I have an HP Deskjet 3050 that Prints, Scans, and Copies. I was making copies of some notes the other day for a friend who missed class one day and the first two pages printed fine until the third one, when my printer claimed i needed to fill the paper tray which was perfectly full. I noticed now that whatever i do with the printer when it loads the paper it loads lopsided to the right and it gets stuck and my printer then again shows a message saying that I need to load paper into the tray. Does anyone know what's wrong? Is it something I can fix? I'm hoping its something I can fix myself since i need to turn in essay questions tomorrow before taking my government final and in college there are no excuses. Try going to school and being a mom at the same time.

    Initial Set-Up 1. Raise the printer cover. 2. Fold the "In" paper tray down. The Deskjet 3845 has two paper trays, one for loading paper (In) and one for after the papers have printed (Out). The In tray is the bottom tray. 3. Load paper into the tray and slide the guide against the edge of the papers. This tells the printer what size paper you have loaded and keeps the paper in a neat stack. Subsequent Loadings 1. Raise the printer cover. 2. Raise the top Out tray to get it out of the way. 3. Load paper into the bottom In tray. Slide the paper guide against the papers' edge snugly. 4. Lower the Out tray. Lower the printer cover. Resume printing

Check out this HP link If I were you, I would put the data that you need printed on a flash drive and have it printed at Staples, Office Depot, Kinko's, etc.... That way it will get printed
