  • Thank you Smedrik for your answer, which requires another question. How do you not damage the chip while refilling a HP 920 ink cartridge? To refill the cartridge the refill kit instructions say to peel back the sticker which has a chip in it.

    When you peel back the sticker, the chip should remain attached to the plastic cartridge.
