How do you load paper in a printer?

How to load smaller paper into a printer?

  • I want to print something on a piece of paper smaller than what is typical printing paper (4" by 6") But how should I put this paper into the printer? Like should I put it onto the left side, center, right side, etc.? By the way, my printer is HP officejet J6400 Thanks!

    Start For XP Settings Printers and faxes Right click the printer icon, and select printer preferences Select Paper/Quality tab Scroll down to size is and select Index card 4 x 6 Scroll down further to type is... Here is where you can scroll to the paper you use. Place the paper to the far right Move the paper slide to the paper Have printer on Windows 7 Start HP Solution center Click settings Click printer settings Click printer shortcuts tab In left window, click postcard printing Click ok Insert paper all the way to the right Be sure to change settings back when done Yes it can be for HP D2500

Theres no "way" to put in your paper. I would say to put it in the center because your printer lifts the paper from its location, so if you are printing in the center of the page, the paper should be put in the center. But if I were you, just use 8x11 paper and cut it out.......classic....some printers don't except smaller paper sizes

i think usually there is a slide that will generally move over to the right of the printers! I would see which side it moves to, put paper on that side, then move slider over to it! Not real tight! Then you should be able to go into that printers program and make the print fit to size! Most printers will have something in their program that will allow you to select paper size, color, etc... Try looking under tools in the printer program!
