It sounds like the cord will cost you almost as much as a new printer. Then you still have the problem of finding cartridges for the old printer and then how long do you think it will last? Ink jet printers have a finite lifetime and yours is on its deathbed. Think about taking what you will spend on the cord and applying it toward a new printer.

yes walmart carries a cord that will make your old printer plug into usb (I have one for my old Learjet 5L it has a standard hookup for the printer and usb on the other side) mine cost $22 at walmart
