How do I connect my d-link printer thing to my computer?

  • Alright, I need some serious help. I have a D-Link DPR-1260 printer router thing that I need to connect to a Compaq with XP Ultimate on it. The IP is 192.168.0.10 and whenever I try to access it, it gives me an error page. I did all the troubleshooting stuff that it said to do and NOTHING worked...so basically I'm screwed. Here's where all my favourite tech geeks come in! Please please please help a little girl that only wants to print out piano music and pretty pictures? Please? ~Virginia Theis P.S. I feel the need to mention that the set-up working on my old computer that had XP, and my brother (who also has XP Ultimate) could access it at one point but doesn't remember how P.P.S. Please help?

    You need to plug it in with a cat5 cable and follow the directions here: http://www.scribd.com/doc/2927123/DPR1260-manual-11 in chapter 2.
