How to use IP Address + Firefox to connect to printer?
-
I was just wondering if there was a way to access the printer protocol and print a webpage using the printer ip address such as: http://10.1.xxx.xxx:print and you could send a site to print such as with this command: http://10.1.xxx.xxx:print:www.google.com/ I don't know if such commands are available, I'm just wondering if there are some commands like that.

Answer:
Some fancier printers you can visit their "web site" through your local network. If you're connected to the printer through your network cable (blue one) rather than usb or lpt (great big ends on the cable) then it's likely. Easiest way to print a webpage though is just to say file > print in your browser.
