How do I connect a laptop running XP to a wireless HP printer?

How can I wirelessly connect my HP Compaq 8510w laptop to my canon multipass mp360 printer? Running XP pro.?

    If you have that printer connected to a desktop, you can set up a workgroup (network) using the network set up wizard found in Control Panel. Run the wizard on all the computers you want to be part of that network. Right click on your printer icon in the printer's dialog box and click sharing. After restart of the computers you should be able run your printer set up program on the laptop setting up a network printer and adding a tcp/ip port.Browse for your shared printer and highlight. If you want to go completely wireless, then you need a device called a wireless print server that connects to your router via Ethernet cable.
