What is professional printing?

What are printing features and which ones are essential for successful printing?

• I am having a problem printing from my HP PhotoSmart 7760. I went o HP for help andwas given instructions about what to do to rectify the problem. My printing spooler is not running so i went to Run, put in key words and I got a list which included print spooler. However, when I looked at the list I discovered that the print spooler had been disabled. many other items on the list were disabled too. I got the print spooler out of the disabled category but the computer still cannot find my printer. It is in the list of programs as well as Add/Remove; but it is not in Control Panel. Well, I put in my flash drive to save some documents in case I have to use a friend's printer. My HP printer Photosmart is there but when I tried to print it indicated that some of the printing features are disabled. Now, I need to know what these features are. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my computer though it has not shown up. I was told that my print spooler is corrupt. But I cannot find my XP Windows CD which is needed. It is the same place as my HP printer and Lexmark All In One CD; and I cannot locate them. Is there anyone who can enlighten me by telling me about the features and maybe suggesting what I can do to enable them? I need my printer; and I have been working on this for about five hours or more.
