Xerox Phaser 8860 Printer Problems on Mac OSX 10.6?
-
I have a Xerox phaser 8860 printer hooked up via a USB cable to an iMac running on OSX10.6. I have downloaded and installed the drivers from the Xerox website. For some reason, more often than not, whenever I print to this printer (no mater what driver is used) I get the progress bar on the computer, the document appears in the print queue (then disappears as if it was sent to the printer), and I even get a very quick "processing" message on the printer but the document never prints. Sometimes it will print great for a wile but then it will stop printing and takes forever to get it to print again. I have tried to change the USB port but it has not helped. If you have any ideas please let me know!
