I need help hooking up my printer to my laptop.

I need help connecting my laptop to my printer wirelessly, help?

• So about a week ago my boyfriend helped me out with my really slow laptop. He had to wipe my computer clean, but in the process my laptop was no longer connected to my printer. Before, my parents had a friend of my brother come over to get us Windows 7, and he also made my laptop print without me having to go through the hassle of emailing it to myself and going onto my dad's desktop to print. But he also took out Microsoft office from my dad's computer because there is no use for it. So now my boyfriend can't get my laptop to pick up the printer. Can anyone help? PLEASE??? I'm a high school junior and I NEED to print out essays and projects!
