Why does my Epson printer spew blots of ink on the page after I clean the print-heads? (Epson CX8400)?
-
I have an Epson CX8400 that frequently leaves big spots of ink in the lower right hand corner. This happens most often right after I use the automatic clean print-head function (which sort of makes sense, since it doesnt use a sheet of paper when it cleans the print heads, so I don't know what it's doing in there)... This also seems to happen when I tell it to print in "best photo" mode. I've tried to keep up in there with alcohol swabs and clean stuff up but I must not be hitting the right parts b/c I never am able to get very much ink. Any ideas?

Answer:
Are you printing boarderless? If so this could be the problem. The ink has to extend off the page with boarderless so it can cause staining.
