Where did my printer icon on contacts go?

Can't see my printer in printer fax folder?

  • i install my printer driver into my laptop and when i turn the pc off and turn it back on the printer icon is not showing anymore so i try to print and it says to reinstall printer again but when i go on add and removed is there but with a red circle around it please help i need my printer thank you in advance

    first ,instal driver for your printer but not connect your printer in your laptop and other usb cable .after instal conect printer go to start -control panel -printer and faxes and you see your printer . ctrl +P -print test page. good luck !

What I would try is to un-install your printer, that is delete it from the device manager and then reboot with the printer and your internet connection on. Sometimes the drivers for devices do not get registered properly and the above is best solution. If you have the driver for the printer have it available in a folder or on disc, but let Windows (Vista) decide which driver to install.
