Is it okay if my printer to use ink of different brands?

Ink for Canon printer?

  • Is my Canon printer at risk if I don't use genuine Canon ink as opposed to after market brands? I find the print quality diminishes slightly using non canon ink,but I can live with that.

  • Answer:

Nope, you will be fine. I would look for a better duality aftermarket cartridge, there should be no degradation in quality.

For two years, I have used only remanufactured cartridges for my Canon multi-function printer at great savings. I see no differences with these cartridges vs. Canon cartridges. For color cartridges, search for the LD brand. For black, the G&G brand.
