How do I switch my printer to print in black and white?

Help with print spooler?

• ok, so my when ever i try to print, it won't because it says there is no printer installed (which is wierd because it was the day before and i know not me or anyone did anything to uninstall it) . so i go to printers and hardware and try to add a printer, but this comes up...operation could no be completed. The print spooler service is not running. i've looked on google and none of the suggestions have worked. the spooler service is on atomatic. i've checked the rpc and rpc locator and they are both on automatic. then i tried unistalling the printer and re-installing it, but it can't fully install because it says the printer spooler is not running. and when i plug in the printer, there is a popup from "found new hardware wizard"(or what ever it's called) and it says the rpc server is unavailable. i've done all the basics, checking power supply, cable, usb ports, everything!!!! by the way, my printer is a HP Photosmart C6280 all in one. i''ve read about printer drivers, and i think i have tried that, but i'm not sure. Can someone help, because i need my printer! i swear, i have used macs for a long time, and i have never ever uncountered problems this annoying(if i had i would just go to the genius bar), but the second i switch to pc, this happens!!!!!!! could someone help please? oh and i found another problem, when i try to add a printer, the print spooler switches to stopped when i click the button to add a printer.
