Is a canon multipass F60 printer compatible with Windows Vista??

Plz help!! Is a canon multipass F60 printer compatible with Windows Vista? ?

  • I just got an hp laptop and wanted to connect my canon multipass f60 to it and use it to print. When I downloaded the canon driver that I thought would make it compatible with vista, the laptop told me that there were already older multipass f60 drivers installed on my computer and that I'd have to delete them in order to be able to install the new driver. I don't know why it's giving me this message. I've already searched my laptop and I have no older multipass drivers already installed. Can anyone help me? Also, can anyone tell me what driver(s) I need to download and how I could then actually install them without having the laptop give me this message? Thanks a million!!! I really don't want to have to buy a new printer.

  • Answer:

    1. Make sure there are no printers listed in the Control Panel Printers. 2. Go into Add/Remove Programs and make sure there is no drivers listed here for your printer. 3. Then you can try to install the drivers. Canon has not made Vista drivers for this printer nor did they come along with Vista. Current support on Microsoft's website for this printer is "Unknown". You could try using the "add new printer wizard" and trying to use the XP drivers, but there is no guarantee.
