How do I scan a paper into my computer to use in email?

I do I use my all-in-one printer to scan and send using an email address?

  • I installed my printer.I copied my document off the comput. onto my paper.I signed it and now I need to send it to another email address.I can scan with my printer,but how.I created a printer icon on desktop to scan to.Don't know how.

    You scan the paper in the printer/scanner - this will create a file. Then you sign on to your email account and attach the file of the scanned paper to that email and send it. You cannot email from a printer !!! or from a desktop icon !!! OR if you are talking about FAXING ~ then that is a different story. Check your software for the PRINT-SCAN-FAX to see HELP on how to do it.
