How to change my printer settings?

How do I change the printer's ink quality settings on a HP Officejet Pro L7680 All In One printer to draft?

• This printer is hooked up to a mac laptop(lil old white ones) and prints fine. But I cannot open the printer preferences and change the ink printing from normal print quality to fast draft quality. I can easily do this when it is connected to a windows but not mac. Why and how can i fix this?

  its funny cuz i have the exact same one. when you are printing, do not select quick print, select print. when the box comes up, hit "properties" and change the settings there. select any one of the pre-set settings, change them as you like, and then click "save as" and name it something. from then on it becomes ur default. if u select fast draft, don't get scared when the printer prints crazy fast, cuz thats normal.
