Dell printer not working?

• Dell inkjet printer not workin with a dell computer running windws xp home, "error message saying printer spooler not working"....checked the "printer & fax" it does not list the printer but has the softwear installed... What should i try?

  Try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer drivers. The discs that come with the computer should contain the necessary software. Regards, Brandon edit: You should at least be able to uninstall the printer. It's possible that you could look on Dell's website for the drivers for your printer. They more than likely carry it. Just download it, it should come as an installer. That will do all of the work for you. Alternately, back up all of your files and do a system restore. Again, there should be discs that came with your computer that will allow you to do this. OR, your system has a hidden restore partition. You would have to refer to your documentation as to how to do this, or you would have to call Dell.
