How to print in jasper directly?

How do I print labels directly onto a DVD using a typical home computer?

  • I need to print labels onto a group of blank DVDs which contain a documentary about an art project I was involved in.

  • Answer:

You can either get a DVD burner with the lightscribe feature and label them that way... OR Buy some CD/DVD printable labels, print on them and stick them on the DVDs. As the above answer states, the lightscribe labels will not be in color...they look more like embossed on the CD/DVD. With the self-adhesive labels, you'll be able to print labes in color.

Light scribe is one way the alternative is a printer like the Epson R200 and later that feature a DVD/CD tray and can print DIRECT in "inkjet printable discs" If you try "normal" discs the ink will never set.

First of all, ordinary DVD's can NOT be printed on through a regular dvd burning drive. For labeling applications you need a lightscribe drive; and lightscribe cds. There is not much variety color wise using lightscribe. But it does create great looking standard labels.
