How do I address this letter?

How do I place the address on a Word document (letter) so it will print on a envelope?

• I have been writing letters in Word. I think there is a way to put the address into the letter and then once I print the letter, I can then print the envelope with the same address to the same person (receipient). I have been printing the letter and then handwriting the address on the envelope because i dont know how to get the address to the printer for the envelope. Can someone give me the detailed steps to put a "zone?" in my letter that will let me then click on something(which button) which allows me to print the address from the "zone?" onto the envelope?

  Try this (Word XP (2002) and the adjacent versions. Word Vista (2007) probably has something similar: 1. With the letter open in Word, highlight the address portion. 2. Click the Tools->Letters and Mailings->Envelopes and Labels menu item. 3. Click the Envelope tab. The address should appear in the Delivery Address text box. Your return address should appear in the Return Address box. 4. Click the Feed box to synchronize envelope orientation with your printer (should be a similar icon on the feed tray showing the preferred orientation). 5. Click Print. You might want to use a blank sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 the first time. For a real envelope, don't forget to move the left-hand paper guide to hold the envelope straight. Hope that helps.
