HP Ink Cartridge Problem?

I am having a problem with the ink cartridge for my HP Deskjet D2300 printer...?

  • I recently installed a new color ink cartridge into my printer and was previously using a black ink cartridge. This printer holds two cartridges. I have been unable to print ever since I installed the new cartridge. I have verified that the printer is installed and working online. Is there something else I need to do? Thanks in advance.

    i have a hp first take the cartridge back out they is a strip on the cartridge make sure you took it off make sure you put it in right spot one more thing after you do that right click on the printer it should show that you have some thing waiting to be printed if so right click it and take it from there good luck try to re in stall it if all else fails

it depends. if you reinstalled the whole printer again. and still have this problem, the color cartridge might be defective. Call HP or take the cartridge back to the place where you bought it and say that the printer rejects it. these cartridges have a warranty on them so it would be replaced for free. by the store and HP.
