My Printer is not using the color ink.?

Hello, whenever I try to print something in color, my printer looks as though it is printing but there is never any color! My color ink cartridge is in the correct slot. It is the correct kind of ink and is only 1 month old. My printer model is an "HP Officejet d145". It prints fine in black, but not in color. My settings say that it is working correctly and that the color ink is installed properly but it just never prints out color... If anyone has advice or some answers, I would really appreciate it. Thank you~

idk. did u take the lil piece of tape that covers the ink part before u put it in the slot? or go to the website and ask a technician. they would know more...

You color ink already run out....check ... did you ever print a lot color before ? when you print a lot color you don't need a month to run out. my advise buy new ink...

what might be happening is that the color ink cartridge is not set in properly....try just resetting the printer cartridge in the slot..hope this helps..
