Printer not printing properly?
-
I have a Canon Pixma Ip1600 inkjet printer which has always worked for years without any issues. The other day I decided to print some basic photos from my desktop PC. Everything was printing fine for a good 30 photos. Over the months I have collected up a small amount of old ink cartridges as I never quite finish them before buying a brand new set for the printer. After changing the cartidges in the printer several times the printer began to print blank pages with no ink on whatsoever. Eventually, I changed the ink around more times until the photos began to print again. However, this time the photos only came out in complete purple and later just red - no other colours. The black border for the photos was also faded. I soon took the printer and tried to print via my laptop and when I did, it printed fine? The black ink was of the usual good standard and the colour was also working normally. It seems to be just the same computer that isn't printing properly. I deleted the printer via the control panel and later added it back on but I still get the same problem.
