How do I Get my Hp printer to Accept my Laptop?

I have a new Macbook Pro and it came with a printer. It is an Hp Deskjet 3050A. When I click on the Icon a message says "Unsupported Operating System." I know the problem has to do with OS X Lion 10.7.1. though. Also, I did look on the Hp Website and saw the answer but I totally updated OS X Lion and it still said "Unsupported Operating System." If anyone knows a way I could use the printer with my laptop it would be very nice if you told me. Thank you for trying to help me out too. :)

HP's webpage for that printer says the only Mac systems supported are 10.5 and 10.6.
