How do I connect a laptop running XP to a wireless HP printer?

Can I get a Dell Photo AIO 924 Printer to work with my laptop wirelessly?

I have a Dell Desktop (Don't know the model) running windows XP SP3 x-86 connect (wired) to a Dell Photo AIO 924 Printer. Is it possible for me to make that laptop work with my HP Pavilion dv6 Intel I3 PC running Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 X-64 wirelessly. I use my laptop for work a lot, and I have to print a lot naturally, so can I print wirelessly. I mean, another way then taking the Desktop tower out of it's spot, disconnecting the printer cord, and plugging it into my laptop; or plugging a flash drive into the Desktop and Printing from there (Desktop does not have Microsoft Office, so Page Layouts do not look as I need them.) I put the install disc into my laptop and saw something about setting the printer up for use on a network. What do i do? Can I do this? Please, someone suggest something. I promise I'll give extra points for detailed answers!
