(Presuming you're a windoze user) Click on start->control panel->printers and faxes. Right click on your printer. Click on properties. Click on printing preferences. What you'll see will vary from printer to printer, but dig around looking for an option that refers to print quality. You may well have a radio button selection set to "black and white" instead of "colour".

Check your printer settings... you've probably set your printer to print in black and white only (or someone else did when using your PC). Go into conrol panel -> printers, right click the printer and pick 'properties'. Look for something that says 'print in black and white only' or some such option. Untick it. That should work... I fit doesn't, try printing the PRINTER test page... see if the printer is able to do colour. Oops, color. If it can't then there may be an option on the printer you can set or maybe the colour cart is in wrong.

go to your printer preferences. If your printer is set to "draft" it will only print in black/white. Change your settings and you will be good to go. ***when your printer box comes up after you press print, look for "preferences". If that doesnt work, find your printer on your computer (main menu) and select preferences from there. Many set ups are different depending on computer and printers. Mine at work is different than mine at home. But its the same as if you wanted to change the settings say to print a photo...Good luck.
