My HP Officejet 5610 All-in-one printer being strange?

Got an HP OfficeJet 5610. How can I tell if an inkjet printer uses a permanent or cartridge-based print head?

  • Specifically, does the HP OfficeJet 5610 use a permanent head or are the printer heads on the ink cartridge? I bought this printer to replace an Epson All-In-One, whose black nozzles on the permanent head are clogged from lack of use.

  • Answer:

Usally hp printers have ink cartridges. to dinf out just open your printer to see if the ink cartridge has the head on it. (i will) also if you hav any question you want good answers for go to http://www.freewebs.com/vidtec30/ and ask that guy. he really good!

Other answers

The print head is on the cartridge. The HP 5610 is a good printer.

This printer in particular has them cartridge-based. Mostly Photoprinter HP's have now moved to having Permanent print heads. If you need more details on your cartridges check out the cartridge family, they're a pretty good resource. http://www.thecartridgefamily.net/
