Why ism't the Epson printer working?

Stupid EPSON C88+ printer not working!!!?

  • no matter what i do it doesnt want to print. It keeps on sayn i have no ink (even after i bought a whole new ink set) and my computer says the info was sent but the printer never prints it. what can be causing this!!! i already restarted the computer. i moved the usb cord to the front ( but nothing) i tried plugginging it in, in every possible usb ( but still nothing) i already got new ink.!!!!! ughhhhhh hate my printer. is there any way i can fix this or im i going to have to buy a new printer. PLEASE SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME TIPS ON HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT IT OR SOMETHING!!

    If everything works but it just prints blank pages, the ink inside the heads clogged. You might be able to unclog it with a head cleaning kit. If the ink light is actually on after changing the cartridges, then the printer itself is broken or one of the cartridges has a bad chip. I assume you tried turning the printer off an on. Even if the printer is not under warranty (which it wouldnt be), epson has a good tech support dept. They might know a trick or two to get it working, assuming it hasn't actually been fried by stray voltage. And if you need a new printer, when you call them they sometimes give you a coupon for $ off your next one. Good luck
