Can I use a generic cable for my kodak printer?

I have a Kodak wireless printer and need a suitable USB cable for it...?

  • My printer is a Kodak ESP C310. It is a wireless printer, however here at uni I am not allowed to use it wirelessly, as I have to connect to the wifi first, which isn't allowed. It did not come with any sort of USB cable to connect to the computer in case wireless was unavailable, so I need to buy one, but have no idea what I'm looking for. Can any computer geniuses help me, please? Thank you!

  • Answer:

Your Uni isn't letting you connect to the network? What kind of 3rd world Uni are you at, Don't go buying a cable of you need the printer to print course work off, it's gonna set you back at least £10. Just contact the admin and tell him to set guest privileges to the network for printer sharing, that phagut should learn how to do his job.
