Whats wrong with the printer?

  • I have a Brother DCP-135C printer and just recently it has been playing up. When I attempt to print something out that has black on it, the black seems to have like a fade to it and there is like some kind of faint gap in the letters right in a row across the middle of all the letters that are in black. I have tried the al;alignment and I have tried new ink cartridges and none of them work. I tried printing stuff in different colours and it works well. I tried cleaning the printer using the option that lets you do that from the front of the printer. I have tried cleaning the small pipe with a needle that is behind the ink cartridge in the printer but still this doesn't help. I have had enough now and don't know what to do, as you guessed it out of the guarantee too. Any help?

Looks like the nozzle is blocked. Have you tried cleaning it in Maintenance in the Printer Settings?
