Why is my HP Photosmart Plus Printer only printing pink?

My HP Photosmart premium printer keeps printing photos that are too dark?

I have a Macbook pro that I use to print photos with my HP Photosmart Premium Printer. It is a C310 series that I can print wirelessly with. I have tried to brighten up the photos using iPhoto, but then it just looks fake and the quality goes down. What should I do?? I went to Office Max and they told me that it must mean that my ink is low, so I replaced the ink cartridges and still no change?

HITI printers.. My brother uses this printer for their photobooth.. It produces quality pictures. And it really prints fast..
