Will my old HP DeskJet 840C printer work on Windows 7?

Back in 1999, I was given a HP DeskJet 840C printer as a Christmas gift from a friend, and I have been using it for 11 years now, even as I converted from Windows 98SE to Windows XP... I want to convert to Windows 7, the latest Windows operating system, but I don't want to change my printer, and buy a new one... Will my old HP DeskJet 840C printer work on Windows 7?

go to the HP website and see if there's a Win7 driver for it - if not then no _ EDIT: I just checked the site - it says a compatible printer driver is included with Windows 7 - you just may need to use Windows Update to install it _

Yes it will. Just select the operating system and download from the HP link shown
