I need help, dont know how to refill ink in printer?

The ink is empty in my printer its a brother MFC-420CN, and I don't know how to put more ink in it, i have the ink catrigde thing, but I have no idea what to do, I really need to print something out, my dad usually does it but he's gone for the weekend. can someone help please?!

The user manual can be found here http://www.brother.ca/en/products/pdf/manuals/MFC420CN-UG.pdf in PDF format. Page 11-24 shows how to replace the cartridge
