What is the best all in one printer (inkjet or laser) for a small office?
-
I am setting up my office and I'd like an all in one printer that is reliable and uses ink at a reasonable pace.

Answer:
If you dont need color, a monochrome laser will be the cheapest and most reliable way to go. If you need color, a color laser all-in-one will probably be a lot more expensive than something like an Epson Workforce 500, which is a copier/scanner/printer/fax with wifi and network connection and document feeder. The great thing about Epson is the warranty. For a year they will fedex you a replacement and pick up the old one at their expense. While a new WF 500 is over $100, Epson is offering a refurb for $45 with free shipping and a year warranty. You can get ink for under $3 a cartridge for reusable cartridges which hold almost double the ink at http://www.ccs-digital.com

The Canon MX700 Now on sale @ Staples $69.99 This printer puts out superior laser looking documents. There are multiple ink cartridges. Four in total. Each can be replaced alone. Minimal waste of ink if any. If you're going to print 500 pages a week; a laser would be more economcal. Other than that; this inkjet fills the bill / is sufficient.

Good 'All in One' printer is the HP 6310 or updated version. Copy / Fax / Scan / Print B&W and Color Mine seems to be reasonable on ink even with 'low ink settings' Sarge
