HP Photosmart printer is printing messed up pictures...?
-
I have a year old HP Photosmart C4480 printer used only a couple of times and has worked great in the past. I have plenty of ink in the printer but when i try to print a picture, the colors are all messy and smudged and people's faces look mutilated. Ugh, what the hell. I really need these pictures printed and its pretty much a brand new printer. Someone please help me, thanks.

Answer:
Try going in the printer preferences and set the drying time higher so that the ink doesn't smudge. Before doing all this, remove the cartridge and clean the underside with a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol. Clean the print head on the printer as well. Also, clean the rollers so that it can grab the paper correctly. Now try printing. The nozzles were probably blocked :)
