Canon or Epson or Hp?

I am considering to buy Canon mp145 , but i just want to know if Epson tx111 is better than canon. Also is there any all-in-one (print, scan, copy) model in HP below Rs.4000. Which has better ink efficiency and also tell me which has cheaper and long lasting cartridge ? I am new to this printer stuff so help me ! I want to print some pictures for school projects(A4 size). It doesn't matter if printing is slow. I want for minimal use. Which provides greater warranty and good service ? I live in Chennai, India.

Answer:
Canon! Fabulous printers are fabulous service. I have a blocked printhead with mine and they sent me a brand printhead out one that day and it arrived the next! They did not even want the old one back to prove it. With Epson you have to replace the whole printer if the printhead goes so once out of warrantly you cannot repair the printer you have to buy a new one! Canon offered to sent an engineer out with the printhead but as I could change the printhead myself in seconds I said I could do it. That's another plus with Canon you can change things yourself without the need of a engineer. Epson make you ship their damaged printers back to them putting you to the trouble of packaging the thing up and sending it back. They don't offer an engineer as they know they printers are not worth repair as they cheap and nasty! Epson printers are rubbish and I have known people have three replacements for one printer in less than a year they are so bad and break all the time. HP are are also nice little sturdy printers. Have anything except an Epson! There is nothing but questions on here ever day about yet more problems with Epson printers. They are also very noisy printers so save yourself a whole heep or problems and avoid Epson. Edit Any model of Canon printer will be a good choice. The model depend on your needs.

i used to sell printers and one of the main differences used to be that epson didnt' replace print heads w/ the cartidges as well as used tons more ink so your cost per print was much higher and canon makes good scanners (think copiers and cameras which have been around for years) adn hp has been making printers for much longer which last much longer than either. that said, i've seen some of the new budget printers which feed poorly but still work very well. i use an hp4 (think 1990) which windows 7 still has drivers for and an hp 932c same story. both run perfectly. remember, while you don't always get what you pay for, you almost never get something you didn't pay for...
