How do I fix "print spooler?

How do i fix my print spooler, when i try to print it says print spooler not avaliable,?

  • i've tried going to print spooler and restarting it but then it says The dependecy service/group is not running or could not be found. It used to work but this past month it doesn't, i don't understand it. i even tried going back a month in the months memory but that didn't work, HELPPPPPPPPPPPP

    well.... print spooler depends on rpc(remote procedure call) try starting the rpc service,then try starting the print spooler service ........ to start or stop a service go to run->type services.msc->press enter now,right click on the desired service then click start ,pause or stop!! u can also check service dependencies by clicking properties!! hope it helps

Do the following steps. 1). Start --> Run. type "services.msc". You will get services window. At right panel, u will have an option print spooler. Right click it and click on STOP. 2). Restart your computer, Try installation now. If u still have same issue, then do the foll steps: 1). Start --> Run. type "Regedit". You will get Registry Editor. Left Panel goto : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE --> SYSTEM -->Current Sontrol Set --> Spooler. Now at right panel u can see a file "Depend On Service". Delete this file. 2). Restart your computer. Now try to install.. It must work.

If you have the drivers for the printer, then you could uninstall the printer driver, and reinstall it again, or visit the printer web site and download them, and install the latest drivers from there.

try unistalling the printer and then reinstall. this should clear the problem. lol

I had the same problem when I loaded the software for my Epsom ink-jet printer. I cured it by going through the settings and de-selecting 'Use Spooler'. You should find this from your Start Menu (If using Windows OS), hope that helps.
