Paper tear not working in epson lx-300 II printer?

want to print bills in dos mode in epson lx 300 II printer. but paper tear not working. the same code works fine in tvs and wipro printers. why ? thw 'paper tear off' is 'on' in settings.

hey it works nicely but u have to configure it by first printing the all configuration
