How do i know how much ink is in my printer?

it's a hp photosmart C3100 and i want to know how much ink is left but i don't know how

Check the HP ToolBox utility. The ink level should be shown in the ToolBox.

Hi - I have the same printer, and it shows up on you desktop. It will show a graphic indicating how much black ink and how much of the colored ink you have left. I am sure that this is in the user's manual that came with the printer. Or, go to HP.com and ask the question as above. Good luck. I know that these things can be frustrating.
